Torchwood

Big fan of Torchwood, but with American financial backing, it also seems to have a few American actors in it this time, and I wonder if it will change the feel of the series. It starts on Starz in July 8th, but we don't get Starz so I'm hoping they will show it on BBC America too at some point.

I'm a big Torchwood fan too, and I'm really pissed off it's going to be on Starz now (we don't have that channel either). Not sure how it's going to turn out with so many America actors and writers contributing, hopefully it won't change the overall feel too drastically.
Let's hope it goes to Netflix soon after they air it on Starz

Hi all, I don't know how it works with other subscriptions but I thought with a DVD Netflix subscription you have access to StarzPlay which is under the "Watch Instant" tab and from the StarzPlay tab you just press the "Live Starz Channel" link and voila, you get instant access to the channel via Netflix. Am I mistaken??? At least that's how I was intending on getting my Torchwood fix!

I usually watch Netflix movies through our Windows PC (we do have a TV but it is about 20 years old and we don't have the TV hardware needed..) but last week I watched a Netflix movie on our iPad, and that worked fine..?

Yes I can watch movies etc on Netflix through our computer it seems to be just the Starz instant thingy that isn't compatible.

I went down to Cardiff a wee while back in order to go to a concert at the amazing Millennium Centre on the extensive and very modern Cardiff Bay complex. I immediately recognised many of the landmarks which have appeared in the Torchwood series and I even had pointed out to me the apartment where John Barrowman and his civil partner live in the Cardiff Bay area of this lovely capital city of Wales.
