She's had a city councillor come by and ask if the company cares about the town at all because they've neglected to do anything about the grass and mulch. Her response was, they're on the 8th landscape company, from "their" list of recommended local companies, because none of them have ever showed up. Plus it's a choice of either get new lawn or replace all the pavement edging, that the winter crew completely demolished. Anyone mention the still demolished entry/exit signs, would probably get punched in the face

Not if the customer just moves on to another company as they all use the quicker stuff :o
Though at some sites, we're still replacing that once a year. Still, if they want to pay us for it, we'll put it down ... |

As new lawn hasn't been laid yet and as they're not considering it an essential use of the business, they aren't allowed to water the lawn. Except they also want the lawns to look pretty and green, because they're centrally located and it looks bad on the town not to be well landscaped. Lucky for the town that it's been pissing it down much of the day and will do tomorrow, but we've hardly had any rain in ages. |

Amusingly enough, now that the new crew have fixed and set the sprinklers off...the missus got a cease and desist order yesterday from the town, for using the sprinklers. ......
