Default They're a weird lot in the ME forum

Take, for example, these two choice threads:

Man having conversation about the weather with himself:

http://britishexpats.com/forum/showthread.php?t=383595

Man looking for cybersex:

http://britishexpats.com/forum/showthread.php?t=383408

It must be the heat and the threat of being blown up on their way to the shops.

I think that many of us actually miss them in a strange way. So, here's an idea: instead of banning them outright for their incendiary or downright weird remarks we should simply banish them to a sub-forum called 'The Loony Bin'. That way we can keep tabs on them and observe them interacting with their fellow-loons for our own sadistic enjoyment.
It'll be kind of like a online forum version of the Jerry Springer show. What do you think?

But that's only two of them and blogs - judging by the number of comments your's receives - don't afford the same level of interaction as a forum.
Anyway, didn't you just have a poll to choose which of the banished should be resurected? This way we could have all of them. It would be a veritable smorgasboard of loonydom.
Banning them outright doesn't work because they can just come back with new IDs. What I propose then is that anyone transgressing the boundaries of acceptable behavior in future would be sent to the Loony Bin until they show signs of normality. Other members will be free to access the Loony Bin and interact with the inmates. After all, not everyone wants a certain person to be banned and do we have any right to stop them talking to them?
