I just wanted to recognise the stirling efforts of the moderators here!
Don't you guys & gals ever sleep??!!
What I love about BE is the sense of community and support.
What brings a slight downward curl to my lips is finding that the latest posting to a thread I'm subscribed to is spam.
Which is what I came across just now - this scammer was rapidly spreading his/her poorly typed message. Within just a few minutes of me reporting this, all evidence of the scammer had gone.
Now that's magic!

I used to be a moderator on a car forum back in the UK. It was a totally thankless task for which you generally got nothing but grief and attitude. Of course I still did it for the love of the forum and club.
Being a mod is more about just removing spam. You are the forum police and it can be a delicate balancing act knowing when and how to interfere in threads that are on the edge of going of the rails. Top marks to the mods here for their level heads and wise judgment.
