Sadly, a lot of the time when I go to watch a childhood favourite, it turns out to be a load of bollocks. "The Tomorrow People" was the last one. I grabbed it when TheBox had it as the free torrent of the week. I can't believe i was so easily amused as a 12 year old. No internet, DVDs, video games, etc. in those days though.

Yeah, I hear you. I watch essentially zero TV here in the US, and like you, I pulled some of my childhood favorites from TheBox, only to be sorely disappointed.

Just to prove how I've sunk deep, deep into mid-life sadness and get-a-lifeitude, I find that the things I mainly get from TheBox now are railway programs like steam nostalgia and cab rides.

Human Target

Was on last night...very cheesy action show, but kind of fun all the same...a few faces you'll recognise, the computer whizz chap is bugging me though, can't remember where I last saw him in.

Heartland, Canadian show, just started watching it half way through the third series I think, anyway, getting back log of stuff because it turned out to be really nice. About a horse whisperer type person, family issues and fantastic scenery.
