I keep hoping I'll chance upon a rerun of the first season, but I never have. Saving it for when I have time and Netflix.

Competely addicted to Prison Break. It's a bit rubbish really but I feel compelled to watch it. I'm sure it's nothing to do with Wentworth Miller.

The Returned starts next Sunday on, I think, ABC, based on a James Mott book. However, both book and show sound very similar to the excellent French TV show of the same name (Les Revenants)

I also see that an English language version of the French show is planned, to be named "They came back". I wonder if this will now continue to production? Though I am not sure if this one is planned as a new production or just a dub job.

The French TV show, I am told was based on a French film from 2004 called (in English) "They came back"

Ouroboros.

Interesting. I really liked the Frog show, got a little slow for a bit but was still rather nicely done.

Perception has come back, not seen it yet but have it queued up.

Fat Tony and Company, it's a Oz show, but have it queued up. It's a spin off of another Oz show, I think it was supposed to be a follow up series but had funding problems and had to be a seperate show but anyway, it's about a Greek guy with a pizza business getting into and becoming a kingpin mob guy. Okay, it did sound better than that when I read the blurb.

I just saw a trailer for what was "the returned" its named "resurrection" now. Must have had a name change in the production process

About a Boy

Well that turned out to be a terrible show. Supposedly a comedy but could barely bare to put up with 5-10 mins of it.

Set in San Fran, based on the book/movie...really terrible and annoying characters and a complete lack of charm.

Aren't there are two (or three) of these around now? I'm aware of a French one and a British one (related), and now an American one (not related).

I saw some of the French television series, Les Revenants (English title The Returned), with the subtitles. It seems to be based on an older French film, They Came back. Then there's supposed to be an English-language version of that French series coming this year, or next year, by a British production team (?).

But this new American series Resurrection is supposed to be based on a book written in 2013 called The Returned, which came out just last summer.

Obviously a popular idea!

Don't know, I'm still on episode 5....but I've been losing interest...

Maybe not focusing enough on the show, have been a bit distracted while it was on.
