PMSL, poor Harry, thought him and Lou were more that just good friends
They were never actually fighting over Madge's affection, Harry was just confused .......

About 3 years after I moved here I was watching a show on Oxygen late at night about a woman who had an argument with her best friend over wearing the same dress to a ball (It was bloody moving) and it was followed randomly by "Neighbours" The freaky thing was it was the exact episode that I had watched before moving to the USA so for the next few weeks I got to catch up with Toadie etc until suddenly it disapeared from the airwaves just as quickly as it had arrived. I don't even know if it still exists.

When I was home in January it was still on.... father watches it religiously!
I'm not sure if he takes it in anymore as he's in a trance most times, I certainly hope he's not taking it in!!

It's fairly bad but better than nothing. Obviously it's not as good as in the old days with William Hartnell but it's better than "Most Haunted" which I have grown tired of.
Sci-Fi is showing it in the summer apparently. I'd have to disagree with the "fairly bad" comment, but each to his/her own I suppose.

I love the new Doctor Who series. I cried when Rose got stuck in the parallel universe
The biggest problem with it being on the sci-fi channel is all the bloody ad breaks.

I'll support the fairly bad comment. Compared with earlier series 60s/70s, etc., it's like it's been written by a team of marmoset monkeys who drink mint juleps all day long and blindfold themselves before hitting the typewriters.

exactly it's like "new coke" as compared to "Classic Coca Cola"

Trying not to go into geek mode but....

Try watching episodes like The Empty Child, Father's Day, Parting Of The Ways, School Reunion, The Girl In The Fireplace and Doomsday. Top class pieces of television drama. But you know what they say about opinions.....

Just watched Warriors (1999) about the Bosnian conflict -- British UN soldiers. Matthew MacFayden and Damien Lewis to name two of the actors.

Stunning. Three hours wasn't long enough to do it all justice.

Raines...even...weren't bad.

Saw the first couple episodes of The Tudors over the weekend on a pre-view showing for the channel, and rather liked it, bit cheesy, but still a good watch.
