What's that about then?

The Following.

Anyone catch that?

The adverts made it look interesting, but reading the description makes it sound shit. A social network of serial killers working together, just guff.

But it has the Bacon, so who knows...

Bob,

Have you EVER managed to post something positive?

Got The Following on the DVR. Haven't watched it yet, and I certainly wouldn't knock it before I have!!

We reserve the right to be cynical, highly suspicious and downright obnoxious.......as the need arises.

Yes, plenty.

I asked about this though because there's a lot of new shit on at the moment and this looked good from the trailers, but reading the description about it just sounded shit.

I'll probably give it a punt anyway.

Watched The Following last night. Enjoyed it, will have to wait and see if its a keeper as future episodes might have a different spin. (hard to put much without giving stuff away)

Ended up watching it too.

Thought it was pretty meh to begin with, just a bit samey, samey, but it did get interesting towards the end of the episode and laid out some interesting stuff to take the show on, so certainly worth taking a punt on a few episodes to see where they take it.

Re: Tele

"Lost Kingdoms of South America" was good on BBC Four.

episode 1 was about the "Chachapoya" in Peru, a people I had heard of, but knew nothing about. Amazing cliff tombs site accessible only by abseil. Yesterdays episode was the Chimu from coastal Peru. Never heard of them before, they were the descendants of the Moche, who I had heard of. (haven't watched the second one yet)

edit: oops, eps out of order, the 2nd is about the Tiwanaku, who some may know from the Kalasasaya site outside La Paz in Bolivia.
