Try 'bread' the next time. It's been done to death but I'm sure you can get a 10'er out of it.

Bread doesn't interest me. As far as I'm concerned, it just makes it easier to eat a sandwich without getting your hands messy.

The Empire was built on tea drinking.!!! It's the back bone of Britishness.

Loose tea made in pot and drunk from a china cup or mug. Semi skimmed milk, none of the non dairy creamer stuff they use here.

I like Earl Grey tea in the morning and Typhoo in the afternoon.

I can get loose Earl Grey here but I have to send for the Typhoo.

Haven't read the whole thread, but has anyone mentioned warming the pot first.

... and not a mention of chocolate digestives, rich teas, scones and clotted cream either. Disgraceful.

Yep we traded opium for it in the good old days of the British Empire.

No I beg to differ, this eyewitness photo-journalism clearly shows savagely dressed Bostonian types dumping loose leaves into UNBOILED harbour water..with not even any evidence of a strainer. Colonials, really. Probably all drunk on Sam Adams...

...and all from Southy too, I expect.
