6pm and it's Saturday. I could really do with getting dressed up and going out for a Curry or a nice Chinese that isn't flippin all, you can eat lard arse heaven.
But instead I'm home, back from the local church carnival, I can only stay a short while before they start trying to drag me in for tomorrows services.

A neighbour is trying to get me to join a 'bunco' group.

Don't do it they are like the Borg. and you'll come home with canned food.

I joined our local subdivision bunco group, only lasted a week...
Brain dead game, and really an excuse for women to get together and b***h about the ones who won't join the group (at least my group was...)

i know how you feel charleygirl. live in Arizona and have to drive for ages to get to anywhere and atmosphere always suck.. I will join you in a lager and lime one day- my favorite choice of bevvy.. I wish you all the best..

I dont know if it is the time of year or what, but at the moment I feel like there is no joy in my life at all. I get up, go to work, come home, go to sleep, get up, go to work ......

I dont know that I have ever really felt more miserable - might have something to do too with the fact that I have newly discovered food intolerances so even the bloody food I now have to eat is so boring (sorry, have to miss out on the lager - no brewers yeast!).

I feel the same! It's hard to go out right now when I'm not at work because it's so hot and humid, and i've not been feeling well for weeks. Doesn't help that I hate my job, either. Can't wait until it gets cooler. At least then I can enjoy a nice walk downtown.
