In all my time here in the US I've never seen anything done other than ordinary snowmen when it snows. Are us Brits just more creative?

Snow isnt such a novelty when you get 160+ inches of it every year, like the previous poster stated we dont tend to get days off everytime it snows here. I prefer to play in the snow rather than with it, snow shoeing, skiing and good old N Michigan 'bump jumping' are so much fun.

I've made snowbears in the US. Local kids also built a snowman in the middle of the intersection near my house.

The local kids like to get out and make things with it - but just plain old snow men. In the pics in the link I liked "the bride", done by a family who's sister was going to be married.
