Wife is a High School Teacher.
She has a 'weird' kid in her class. Highly intelligent. Argumentative and misogynist. Keeps pressing her buttons.

It transpired that he posted on Instagram with rifles..(air guns), and that he voiced support for a shooter, who shot people in the school months earlier.
'A for effort' he stated on Instagram in that regard.

The school district suspended him for a week. That's the limit of their action.

He's now back in wife's class. And pissed.

Well, there's apparently a heavily-armed lunatic with a penchant for school shootings in Denver right now who has caused all the schools to be shut down. Travelled in from Florida, apparently.

Sort of discussing this yesterday with my Brother, somebody has been stabbed not that far from where he lives, near where a friend of mine used to live. His view is that he simply avoids areas where such things are likely to happen, his life style means he does not go there, now that is not a cure but certainly true it reduces your exposure.

I can think of a couple of places I lived in the UK where I would want to conceal carry now. I do not feel the need here.

Seems incredible that this 18 year old could not legally buy a beer in a bar yet acquire a shotgun and ammo just after arriving in Colorado. Aren't there any residency requirements or background checks in that State ?

Remember, shotguns did most of the damage at Columbine during the last "assault weapons ban". Cho at Virginia Tech used a .22 and 9mm with 10 round magazines.
Parkland idiot used ten round magazine. But scary black rifles with baby killing weapons of war magazines on our streets! A crisis! Um, not really. Opiods. Malpractice.
