Weird. They need to sort that out.
I know cooked ham can be a bit watery but I am struggling to remember a time when it was ever so bad it was actually dripping out like I was trying to bite into a sponge ...

Do people not make their own sandwiches? I can't digest most breads, so don't eat it often. However when I do want a sandwich I make it myself. Take some bread, butter one of the slices, add condiments to suit (mustard because mayo is the devil's spit), throw on some meats and some lettuce and Bob's yer uncle.
