Restrictions on travel

https://oag.ca.gov/ab1887

My son brought this to my attention. He's planning how to spend his conference attendance funds for 2017, and this puts a severe crimp in his choice of venues ...

He was seriously considering Kansas, Mississippi, North Carolina, and Tennessee? Is he part of California's state department for country and blues music, or corn production?

It looks like exceptions 5 and 6 should give him most of the flexibility he might need. :unsure:

Maybe this is the first step to succession or to kill the economies in those states.

* Secession :p

This is just a restriction on state-sponsored travel though. There are still 49 other states who don't have these restrictions, it won't really have much of an effect in the long run.

Vermont, Washington state and New York‘s governors all banned official state-funded or sponsored travel to Mississippi on Tuesday. The District of Columbia is considering a similar measure.

I was talking about the LGBT community seceding. :sarcasm:

The South can keep their country singers. Unfortunately some of the good LGBT singers are dead now

A couple of those states don't really have "economies." They live on handouts from the blue states.
