I do it every time.....but this time I was a bit more careful on their prices - eg their curry sauce at 6.99 can be had in HEB for half that....Did get stuck on Hula Hoops though...and Christmas Crackers....couple of Christmas puds....black pudding.....bacon....it soon adds up!

Thanks for the link, my OH went to the British Shop in Virginia Beach and got me poppies and flakes.

LA area - Ye Old King's Head in Santa Monica had a sign out front advertising them last time I was there (a week ago, I think).

Canadian Legion is upset over the White Poppies. The Canadian Legion sells the Red ones in most shopping malls.

"The red poppies are not political statements and the Legion doesn't have any political positions. The poppies are simply a symbol of remembrance. Nothing more," Mr. Ross said. "It seems to me that the people who usually distribute these [white] poppies and do these sort of things have never spent a day in their life in the service of their country."
I dont think he would understand political if it hit on the head.
