LOL reminds me, I actually did have paramedics here at Christmastime once - two were worrying about doing their job, but the trainee paused to look around and said "Nice tree!". I thought it was funny - the other two paramedics didn't - if looks could kill...
LOL What a thankless job being a paramedic is.

Fake for us. DH does not want to deal with the fire hazard that a real tree presents. In addition, it is cost saving and better for the environment to leave the tree living for years to come. I buy a large wreath and hang that for the great fir tree smell of Christmas.

Real for us! I would never have a fake tree. It's also better to have a real one to help the environment. Most trees are grown on small family Xmas tree farms, on land that can't be used for farming. They cut them down, make some money to help the family finances, then go out and replant. It's good for the economy of this country. Fake trees are from China.

My family always had a fake tree when I was growing up, my Wife's family always had a real one. We've used a real one since we had kids.

It's hard to find a tree everybody agrees on though.

LOL (words and photo). Poor daughter, she looks SO mad.

I really do prefer a live tree - just isn't an option for me anymore.

Well there ya go - elephants only get to about 11 feet tall - so you're all set. And the not gray part is even easy.

LOL kids.

A 7 foot tree would be fine by me as I am the one that has to get up the ladder....DH is all squirly about ladders since he broke his leg standing on a football.
