That's $50 a year....that's pretty cheap...that's hardly any difference to regular registration...
It's weird you'd pay for so long up front though, but I don't know how they do it in Texas, don't think you have the sticker on the plate, goes on the window or something weird out there.

It's $155 for one year, $395 for five and $495 for ten. Already told my wife what I would like for Christmas...

Up here personalised plates are a one off payment of $30 or $20 for the school and military plates, quite reasonable. I have FLASHH for my volvo wagon and DH has just ordered TIGERR for the new bike (its a Triumph Tiger)

I can't remember how much it cost but we have T VOLE on our plate. We originally wanted TY VOLE as that would be the correct Czech spelling, but it was already taken. Literally it means "you ox", figuratively it means "you idiot".
