Default Phones

I'm going back to UK on an emergency trip in the next couple of days. Where do I get a prepaid Sim card for my mobile phone? Do you need to supply a UK address/ID these days?

Also, do they do international calling cards like the ones in Oz yet. Need a cheap way of calling back home.

TIA

Dave

Hello Dave,

Last time I was in England you could get a virgin mobile sim from the supermarkets, for about 10 pounds.

Calling cards seem to be all over the place, though call through numbers are also very common now. These are just like calling cards but the phone bill is charged a lower rate. A search on the internet should find you loads.

All the best and good luck.
