Default Panic attacks? Hysteria?

Well, we're 17 days from the big move. AFAICT, everything is in order, but, I find that I'm getting these panic attacks, freaking out over stupid, insignificant things, and generally behaving like an arsehole.

Is this normal? Did anybody else go through something similar? Or is it just me?

I seem to remember the last days being somewhat fraught, although many of them involved meeting up with various different friends, which was usually accompanied by consumption of as much precious real ale (and curry) as circumstances would allow - which kind of took the edge off a bit.

When someone in the military is about to be deployed spouses are warned they could start fighting about silly things. People do it to make separation easier, you can leave people you are mad at for some reason. Not sure who is getting the brunt of yours but maybe it's the same thing, a self defense move because you are leaving family and friends.

I am leaving in 49 days and feeling the exact same way. Had our leaving party for friends on the weekend as my OH leaves in 3 weeks. We bickered last night as I said maybe we should move to another area about 15 miles away from where we had originally planned. He wasn't happy. It's stressful - I know what you're going through. Wish I could fast forward 6 months and know we are settled. I am SURE it will all be fine though! Good luck with your big move

I know that feeling, whilst waiting for the visa I have talked about Mesa/Chandler/Gilbert. Hubby just lets me get on with it

Chartreuse: The stress will calm when everything is packed and you only have suticases and handbag to worry about.
