Time for the annual shaking of the head for those of us in America on March 17
At the school I am working at this week:
Paddy misspelled as Patty
An a-z maze of Ireland 'fun' worksheet, that indicated the nation of Ireland as the full island.
Anyone else got any?

Car bomb.
I'll be mixing myself a 'plane crashing into a skyscraper' later.
Or not, because both are just twunty.

Yeah, green everything...everywhere.
For at least a week now, many people have been wearing green. When I don't wear green they stare or ask me why.... Tomorrow it'll be worse, I suppose, but I bet the "wear green" pressure won't be over.
And I almost forgot my biggest moan, the overpriced & pathetic "Irish Bread" in the bakeries.
Also the strange items that appear & are labelled "Irish Scones".

Car bombs
Anything green that normally isn't
Anything that has 'Irish' added to it that normally doesn't
People who've never been to Ireland who claim they are from there
Parades
St Patrick's Day greeting cards

Just got bagels at the bagel shop, actual conversation.
"Can I have a plain bagel sliced and toasted please?"
"Would you like green or regular?"
