Re: Paddy's Day moans
Every year (so far), the local pipe and drum band plays "Scotland the Brave" and various other Scottish tunes in the St. Patricks day parade. My wife reckons it's people considering them to both be "celtic" nations oppressed by the English. She did follow that up with "Bazinga".

Re: Paddy's Day moans
St. Paddy's day in spades for us! We're down in Rochester NY at a curling tournament (bonspiel is the correct term I believe.). Our daughter curls, bless her heart, and (though I say it myself) she's really good at it. Anyway, being Paddy's Day weekend, all the teams are dressed in hokey Paddy's hats and costumes, all the food is green, the curlers are all snacking on vodka soaked GREEN gummy bears, some of the beer is green. A good time is had by all, so more power to them, I say!
