Over the rainbow....
#1
Many of you know me here because I'll pop in with advice on getting your pet's back to the UK. I wanted to let you know that I had to put my beloved Scout (for whom my on-line personna is named) to sleep yesterday.
She went very quick. I have to tell you it was raining here yesterday.......and as I was leaving the vet after.....the sun came and peeked through a small break in the clouds and I looked back over my shoulder at the vets as I was driving off and there was a rainbow coming right down on the vets......I'm not making that up.
God I loved that dog. She was absolutely wonderful. My heart is broken.

That is so so sad. I adore my dog. You must be devastated.
Scout has gone to doggie heaven via a rainbow. God bless him

So sorry about Scout.
Do you all know The Rainbow Bridge? It's a comfort when a pet dies.

This is a video version which is lovely, but will make the screen blurry.

Very sorry to hear about your dog
A dog is very high on our list of things we'd like when we get to the UK. I hope ours will bring as a much pleasure to us as yours obviously did to you.

Im at work and have just read your post and Im in bloody tears
I held my whippet bitch when she was put down, my friend (a vet) put her to sleep in his dining room.
Rema was always at various parties at his house and she trusted him so it seemed only right.
It was the hardest decision I have ever made and I never realise how much it affected me till I read posts like this one.
My thoughts are with you, I know just how you are feeling.
