Okay, just to set the record straight. My story stands! I did return to Ireland several times with family and friends. We always flew into Dublin, which I think we can all agree is in Ireland, did the touristy stuff and then drove north to Belfast.

So let's not split hairs or get my thread booted from the board over differences! Thanks so much!

If Belfast is in Northern Ireland, and according to you Northern Ireland "belongs" to the UK, then all she did was leave off the Northern part of Ireland. It's still in Ireland isn't it.

Maybe not to you, but what is fact is that you can't drive from London to Belfast without getting wet. Northern Ireland is part of the United Kingdom and not of the Republic of Ireland, and your education system has let you down terribly.
