licence is good for before you need to take a test?

licence is good for before you need to take a test?

Rules vary by state. Typically 30 days after becoming resident, you need to apply for your new licence. From the UK, expect to have to take the driving as well as written test. Look for the Motor Vehicles Department website of your new state for details and possibly, practice tests!
