I have posted before about my son Bryan being with the Canadian Forces and just
thought I would let you all know that he shipped out for Afghanistan last
night. Please keep him and all the men and women who are serving our countries
in your thoughts.

Thank you for raising a son with such integrity that he would not only fight to
protect his own country from terrorism, but the US and the world.
You must be very proud, and I'm sure very scared. Bryan will certainly be in my
thoughts and my prayers.

Byran is in our thoughts and prayers that St. Patricia's unit returns own safe and sound.
Jim's unit has been told to stand down so he is no longer on active duty and only reports in twice a week. But he said he is willing to change uniforms if Canada recalls him to active duty there.

I just want to thank you all for your kind words. It was a very difficult day for me.
I haven't seen Bryan since July and it was hard to see the soldiers climbing on that
plane on the news and know I hadn't hugged Bryan goodbye.
