Default Organising finances

Hi

can anyone point me in the direction of either an accountant who has dealt with people moving Australia to the UK, or an organisation, or just some decent information when it comes to things like organising Australian Superannuation and can it be put into a UK pension scheme; closing investments in Australia and investing in the UK (just managed funds, nothing big or special!); dealing with final tax returns etc.

Will pm you with a local financial advisor I have found to be really good - he has some clients in UK/Europe too so seems to be well up on the options.

Would be interested to know if super can be transferred, as I was told by one super fundit had to stay in Oz until you reached pension age.

I think it all depends on whether you are a permanent resident or not - The ATO has information

Bugger, hes a permanent resident. Not a citizen though, but apparently just being a permanent resident prevents him taking it out of the country. Have to wait until hes 60 or 65 or whatever it is.
