Another one.

I agree with Obama its routine, business as ****ing normal.

The struggle for gun control was over when the politicians did nothing after Sandy Hook. the USA decided that 20+ dead six year olds was acceptable.

I did already, I tacked it on the last shooting thread, from a few days ago.

That was in the liberal north east, this in the liberal north west.

As usual the gun control lobby are busy crying for the moon instead of discussing what can be done and is widely supported by the public including gun owners. That wouldn't have quite the dramatic impact of widescale gun bans though.

Roseburg isn't liberal. Not unusal to see people open carrying there. It is a farming area and has a high percentage of gun owners.

Perhaps instead of just gun control the gun control lobby would be better spending their time on nutter control and keeping guns out of the hands of the mentally challenged. Most responsible gun owners would support that.

Australia figured it out.

"Nutters" are organic, we can't get rid of them. Guns are not organic, we can get rid of them.

Except that wouldn't help. Crazy people aren't more likely to kill, and most killers aren't crazy.

High, but clearly not high enough.
If there were enough, "they" would have protected "us" against this.
Apparently.
Isn't that how the line goes?

UCC is a gun free zone. That worked out well.

You think people who commit mass murder are mentally normal. I certainly don't see that as the behaviour of a mentally competent person.
