Speaking of....
Had to LOL when he once said that as an American - I obviously lack a sense of humour and am, of course, blind to irony.

Which led me to picture John Oliver, also laughing out loud (all the way to the bank), nodding in agreement.
(Signpost should be unnecessary but, alas, shabby shibboleth prevails)

Have since disregarded his stupidity

The real irony is the source of that particular insult.

And the real perception of that irony is being made by you - another American

You probably know or realise that I don't tend to hold back much.

I'm probably a bigger arse hole in real life because I don't have the "supermod", must be nice tag to people that I do on BE and well, you know how lovely I am on BE :/

I tend to be the same way on forums as I am with my mates at the pub. We joke around, have a laugh, disagree and occasionally arguments have broken out, exactly like what happens in discussions on here.

If someone is the kind of person who is hurt by words, or who can't get into an argument without giving some meathead response like 'I'll hit you if you disagree with me' (paraphrasing what I've seen people say they'd do in real life in some of the Spain forums on here), they don't end up being my mate for long.

I enjoy the discussions I have here, both heated and jovial. Long may they continue.

See - that's what I mean. You take a picture of your dog going to the toilet and it's considered to be cute or whatever the hell people think about animals going to the toilet. I take a picture of my kids on the bog and I get a blue dot over my house faster than you can say Jimmy Saville

Actually, I took that one as a response to another post originally. She is expressing herself. So to speak.

Hmm... Maybe it's art.

I like that there was a post out there that necessitated the taking of that picture to respond to. I hope it was one of mine

It's no less art than a cow cut in half, or what those irritating bearded wankers in New York get up to.

The fact that you are happy to do Jimmy Savile references means I think you and I would get on famously over a pint.

I'd fight you for having a pop at cats though.
