How would a Mexican citizen obtain a work visa for the United States?
If the Mexican citizen is currently an undocumented worker, what must
he or she do to obtain a work visa or any kind of visa to remain
working in the United States?
As far as I know, this person is currently working in the United States
but is unable to obtain a work visa from his present employer. Is it
so hard to do this?

Will he have to find another employer that will sponsor him to obtain a
work visa?

If you need additional information, please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

There's 10 millions guys out there with the same questions.

And besides printing it themselves, they haven't found the solution.

He or she will need to leave the USA then follow one of the procedures
discussed at

By finding an employer willing to apply for a work visa for him.

In cases where the employer is unwilling or unable to apply for his visa, or the worker does not fit the qualifications for a work visa, then yes...it will be difficult.

Yes, and also make sure he himself is qualified for the work visa. There are restrictions on who can get one. See www.uscis.gov for more information.

It would help if you gave details of educational/professional qualifications.

The person may well have a ban to face on leaving the US before applying for any visa.

As far as I know he is only able to do unskilled labor jobs and has
very little formal education.

You asked: "As far as I know, this person is currently working in the United States

The answer, now that we know the details of his qualifications, is Yes. It will be pretty much impossible.
