Absolutely, how can they let people that willingly charge headlong into armed conflict with Israel be part of the UN?
Their government excludes a full quarter of the people living in Palestinian territories from voting, that is on the few occasions when they get to vote because the president’s term expired in 2009 but he unilaterally extended his own term and fired his elected cabinet
.
I should imagine they will prance into the UN imminently, practically model members unlike their nasty secularist and democratic Jewish neighbours

Palestinians can vote in all Israeli elections, last time more than half of them did. Israeli law guarantees Arab citizens of Israel the same rights as other Israeli citizens without distinction of race, creed or sex.

It was passed by a very pro-Israeli Congress in the '90's and Clinton - iirc - signed it knowing that there were enough votes to overcome any veto. It's a great example of why it's so difficult for the US to be a neutral party in this conflict and why the Palestinians are continually screwed by the needs of domestic US policy. Personally I say screw the US's money: there's no way trhe rest of the world should not do what is right just because the US will take their ball home to mummy.
