Double cuff work shirts, that don't have a pocket or button down collar.
That is literally the only thing

Clothes that fit English people. Pants here seems to be designed for people with short chubby legs. The American build seems to be different to the UK build.

That's a strange observation. I used to buy long-fitting trousers and jeans from the US even when I lived in the UK because the fit is perfect, choice was better than in the UK, and the prices lower to boot. I am 6'5" and my legs certainly couldn't be called "chubby".

Re: Non-food British item you miss
It was a bit.
I've never had trouble. It's not like shoes where you have to take your UK size and add 1; pants are "waist size/in x inside leg/in" in the UK and the US. Unless an inch has changed, it shouldn't be a problem at all.
Now, if you're unable to find the combo you need (and I seem to have a common one), that's a different matter entirely.

I'll be in those after Thanksgiving this year, I think
Even those are sold based on that same waist x leg measurement though, aren't they? It's only with things like sports shorts or sweat pants where it goes to the S,M,L,XL classification as far as I remember.
It is a pain having a common size though. I always thought I was below average height, but apparently everyone who uses the Kohls clearance racks to buy work pants are short and fat like me

Re: Non-food British item you miss
Judging by my suitcase coming back from my last two trips home, I miss:
clothes (probably in the category of 'funky')
underwear
wool wash
freezer bags
I have found freezer bags here once, which makes their usual absence all the more confounding.
I thought I'd have better luck with clothes once I moved to NYC, but it's still like pulling teeth. I regularly get comments about what I'm wearing, which results in my being the "oh this? I got it in London" twat.

funky british women's clothing. It's either polyester, tarty or preppy here. Gap is ok for work but I miss being able to find something unusual in marks and sparks or Boden, Next. I gave up being able to afford Whistles or Harvey Nics when the sprogs arrived but I'd miss them if I could afford it still!

If you mean the heavy duty polythene ones, Mrs P gets them at Walmart, but all the groceries round here sell them. Freezer bags are thicker than regular food bags, and IIRC, the "brand" ones are thicker than Walmart brand, so Mrs P only buys the brand ones. They also come with a double seal to protect things from freezer burn.
