Nimbism at it's finest
Remember when they were having the "Day without immigrants" protests here in the USA and the BBC feedback section was full of people saying there shouldn't be any restrictions on movement or immigration?
Well the BBC now has a feedback section asking if UK Immigration should be limited in light of a report saying that almost 600,000 new EU immigrants are present in the UK. Just looking at the first couple of pages ( as of 8:30 Central) and mostly its people either calling for limits or asking for it to be stopped completely!
Classic Nimbysm.

I read this last night...even more appalling when you think the 600,000 figure you mention is from May 2004.
