Default New babies in the house

My new babies...

Beige one is 4 months old and weighs less than 2 lbs still. He'll be less than 4 lbs full grown. He's a Morkie (Yorkshire terrier/maltese).

Black/tan one is 2 months old and weighs a little over a lb. She'll weigh more ...5-6 lbs full grownl. She's also a Morkie. We do not get to bring her home until mid June after vacation.

Do you know if the older one is house broken yet?

We're currently working on our newest dog

Not going so well though as he seems to think outside is for playing and comes inside to pee/poo He's a 2 month old Puggle (Pug/Beagle)

So cute...what type of dog is it? A dog can't be house trained properly until it is old enough to control it's bladder. What I do with a new pup is put them outside as soon as they wake up, finish playing, after eating and every couple of hours inbetween. I also give them the command 'be quick'...then they know what I expect them to do when I let them out. The is very handy at bed time or when I want to go out and leave my dogs.

Also keep an eye on the pup if it's running around quickly with it's nose near the floor it's usually a sign it needs to go out.

He's a first generation Puggle (Pug/Beagle) and apparently they get to 15-30lbs, from what I can tell they grow up to look like small boxers and are apparently really good dogs to have. The main reason I got him, apart from being a sucker for any kind of animal, is for him to grown up with my son who should be born in August, it's also for the sake of my Chi-poo who is terrified of children so he should provide a good distraction.

He tends to know when he needs to go as he'll run to his bed and pee/poo on it He's getting a bit better and will sometimes go to the door but as he's so young there's literally seconds between him stopping and the floor being covered in pee/poo. We also have the problem of having 4 other dogs so when he gets outside he likes to play with them or attack our feet He's really clever though so I've no doubt he'll get the hang of it soon enough

They're throwing poodles in with everything under the sun now, and getting good money for them too. I saw an add for a "RottiePoo" this past weekend.

The older one still likes to poo in the house...luckily it's all hardwood/tile. He was almost pee trained when I got him at the end of April. I use puppy pads still though. I have one by the back door and I put one in the bathroom with him while I am at work. (However, last week he didn't use it at all!)

I had a male shih ztu that had the same pooping problem, likes hardwood better than grass. But my female maltipoo was trained within a week (before she was 8 weeks old).

I am hoping the new girl will be easy as well. My last day of work before summer break is this Friday, then vacation, then picking her up! They're both from the same breeder but not related, and she's keeping the boy for me while I'm gone for a week.
