My mum died yesterday, she's been ill for quite a while but 3 weeks ago she feel and broke her hip and never recovered. I can't even go home for the funeral 'cause I'm 33 weeks pregnant with twins, it all feels unreal and I can't imagine her not being there anymore.

Sallyanne, don't worry I'm not offended, I almost answered your post earlier but couldn't quite articulate it. I'm not religious in an organised or conventional sense of the word although I have beliefs they aren't static enough to give a name to. But I don't mind others trying to comfort me from their religious perspective. It's the thought and intent that counts.

I'am very sorry too about your loss
I was five month pregnant when my mum died last year... it was very hard for me too. I take solace in thinking that she watches down on us and gets to see her grand children everyday which is something she could not do when the atlantic seperated us. It helps me to talk to my baby and tell her about her grandma... I also give her hugs and kisses and tell her that they are from grandma.
