Found this "Rare Beast" on a recent trip to Branson, Missouri.
I hope it survived the Tornado which went through the area, overnight.

That's just like the one we had when I was a child...URB 139...spilt windowscreen and orange arm indicators that popped out between the doors.

You just gave me a nice memory of how much my father hated it when they went from arm indicators to blinkers! He thought they were a terrible idea!

There's an Austin 1100 on a pole near here - rusted as anything - as an ad for a car breakers!

That thing has been up there for as long as the missus can remember....but it has gotten a hell of a lot more wonky and manky looking since I first moved to the US

I didn't get a chance to look at it closely. I am going to assume that it has most of its original bits.
There is a mint-condition Morris Traveller (the Estate) which I've seen on a few occasions, close to where I live. I'm hoping to take a pic of that, soon.

So true. My first car was an 1100. I paid 100 quid for it and drove from Enfield to Woodford without any brakes at one point!!

I've seen a bright yellow Mini Traveller/Countryman (can't remember whether it was a Morris or an Austin) in Bountiful, UT - must be interesting to drive with all the SUVs etc around.

There's an Austin 1100 on the Portland (Oregon) Craigslist right now. Rubbish then, rubbish now!
