Morphsuits

Just read an article about Brits on vacation in Croatia (there's a link in a separate thread). Apparently, Brits like to wear something called a morphsuit whilst on vacation (or maybe they wear them at home too).

I had never heard of a morphsuit. Has anyone ever heard of this or seen anyone actually wearing such a thing? They really are the darndest things I have ever seen.

Good grief - can you imagine your average, introverted Brit, wearing something like that? What utter tosh.

The problem is when your average, introverted Brit has consumed several gallons of booze, then, apparently, he or she enjoys wearing a morphsuit.

Interesting. I'm an average, introverted Brit and I've consumed a fair few gallons of booze in my time and I have to say it would never once have occurred to me to don one of those things

No, I think the correct term for the kind of person that would wear that is, ****tard.

Children are exempt because they are children and dressing up is acceptable for them to do. Your 8 year old is not a ****tard, rest assured :)

Fully grown adults should know better, of course ...

I first saw these on "Green Man" in the 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' show. Seen a few folks wearing them at sporting events.

I guess they took off!

Did you like that show? I thought it was dreadful and it's not even filmed in Philadelphia!

Didn't watch it very much, but do remember laughing a few times at what I did see. It's silly funny, which is good sometimes.
