My Significant Other was a roofer and he was an American Citizen from birth; my mother was a housekeeper; my father was a factory worker and later worked for a tree nursery; my sister-in-law's husband was a construction worker; I was a waitress and barmaid several years; the restaurant I worked in had a short order cook and he was an American Citizen; my children have worked as waitresses and started out as bussers when they were teenagers.

So tell me why this American family and its friends and relatives who were "born" Americans doing work you claim only Mexican or illegals would do?

Who the hell do you think did the jobs before the illegal resource suckers
came along? Don't kid yourself, they don't do those job because they are
hard working and moral pillars of society! They do them because they are
the only jobs they can get to hide from the American government while they
live off our medicade system and other government programs. Dirty work is a
small price to pay for free healthcare for an average of 5 children per
Mexican couple. You think they do it because they want to blend in here?
Be a part of America? No they want to take over, they don't care about what
they take from us. Do you think a single illegal cares that we are running
out of Medicade funding? That there will soon be no money left for the
legal Americans of this country? No they care about only what they can get
for themselves and they want it the easy way. How many illegal Mexicans do
you find out there fighting for the rights of underprivileged Americans.
NONE. If they wanted to be part of America then they would do it the way
Rabbi suggested. They would apply for the appropriate visas. Not just hope
the boarder in the dead of night where they can't be seen. But no, they
steal social security numbers, falsify documents, marry USC to manipulate
our system. Where are you hard working ethnical people in those scenarios?

I am not apposed to ANYONE moving from another country to the US as long as
they do it the LEGAL way. If they come in legal then they are in my eyes
law abiding people with integrity. Those are the sort of people most do not
mind having in their neighborhoods, no matter where they come from. My
boyfriend is British. He is a British police officer. I am an American born
and bread here. He is in the process of sorting threw all the red tape to
make it possible for him to come over here to live. We know it is going to
take months of effort to do it the LEGAL way. And we know it would be
easier and much faster for him to come over and marry me for him to get to
stay here LEGALLY. But we don't want a marriage based on convenience. We
want him here under the RIGHT conditions. We want to get married for the
RIGHT reasons. So don't give me all that crap about the US being accepting
of ILLEGAL (criminal) behavior. You can't get anymore straight-laced than
he is yet he is still EXPECTED to do what is RIGHT and is not given any
special treatment because of who or what he is. So why should anyone else?
And once he is here he can hold his head up because he has not manipulated
the system. He will have EARNED the right to be here!!!!!! Not STOLEN entry
just because he could. Once here he will be accepting a job as a police
officer in this country (which will also take months and months of red tape,
money and training), but he will never have to worry about being deported
because he is moral enough to do it the right way. And if I were to move to
the UK the same would be expected from me.

Oh and btw, as I said was born and raised here. IN THE SOUTH! I have
worked my whole adult life. I am a single parent of two daughters who I am
raising financially on my own. I have to pay outrageous amounts for my
health insurance. I do not get medicade or food stamps though there are
times I need them, I do not get 401K, nor can I afford to own my own home or
new cars. So you are damn right if you think I am pissed off about all the
illegal that come here and are afforded benefits and luxuries that I (as an
American citizen) am not afforded. Not only that but the attitude of most
of these people is one of the US owing them something. We owe them NOTHING!
We worked hard as a nation to become the land of dreams and opportunity.
And they have contributed how exactly to get us to this point? After 911,
when all the true Americans where riding around with bumper stickers showing
support, do you know exactly how many vehicles driven by Mexicans that I
observed showing support of any kind(in a town where the Mexican population
is growing by leaps and bounds daily)? Exactly, two! It is ok to come live
off the US, but what gratitude do they show for their lively hood?

So get off your soap box! Stop preaching to the American citizens and start
preaching to the illegal vermin you are fighting so hard to exonerate. Tell
them to do it right, or go home! I wonder what leads you to be so
sympathetic to the illegal element. Are you dating one? Married to one?

Bush has more than enough moeny to live decent buthe goes to Iraq to
get the oil. So you can't criticize these people w/o criticizing Bush
and his gang. It's unfair.
