Re: Memories
I can remember going to the hospital right after my sister was born, I was only just 2 at the time. I think that's about as early as I can remember reliably but I do have a vague memory of my mum being about 8 months gone, so right around my 2nd birthday is probably as far back as I can go, summer of 1981.
I can remember every stupid little insignificant detail of just about everything after about mid-1983 though, my mind is a mine of useless crap

Re: Memories
I was 3 when my brother was born, wasn't too impressed so I told my dad he could put him back in his box and send him back. Things don't change I'm still not impressed with my brother :\
Other earliest memories are being made to play with kids I hardly knew so I would catch the mumps, chickenpox, german measles at the same time as the rest of the gang.
Playing on our bikes up and down the road, my first bike was a rebuild dad took the frame to work and had it painted dark tulip and the mud guards were chromed (he worked for Pressed steel Fisher/Morris/Leyland/Rover group) I loved it !!

Re: Memories
My earliest memory is being at some awful seaside in England, probably Skegness or Cleethorpes, and having a big padded shiny pink coat on with a snowflake and a big furry trimmed hood. I zipped it up and caught the skin under my chin in it and couldn't get it out. My Dad sorted it out while I screamed and then we went to a cafe for a toasted current teacake. I think I was around 4.

Re: Memories
I remember our class bully quite well. Many years later I had the very great satisfaction of saying to him, "You are under arrest for the murder off........etc etc" he made the mistake of trying to leg it and jumped over a wall that was low on our side and about 40ft the other.
I do not know if my earliest memories are mine or are fabrications from stories my parents have told me.
The ones I know are definitely mine (or at least I think they are mine) are from about 4 or 5 years old. Butlins at Pwllheli

Re: Memories
I can remember about as far back as sultan....I remember my mom going to hospital to give birth to my sister.
This was 1974, I was two and a half at the time. My grandparents lived across the street and they watched me. I remember a toy police car I was playing with on the circular dining table.....
