Hasn't even arrived yet, and I'm already dreading the goodbyes.

Argh...he's a mathematician, usually keeps his emotions under tight control, but last time he was here he cried like a baby for a very long time, holding onto me at the airport......it sucks. Why do we do this to ourselves?

Not this Sat. but the next, for a week, on his way back with his dw from a Caribbean vac.

I get very depressed the week before and the months after they or I leave....what the hell am I doing here is my constant thought...sigh

Same here. When my brother had his car accident, I didn't find out till weeks later. This happened in the Oxford area too (last year). He wrote off a car...

So enjoy your time but understand how you feel. I have one sister and everybody was bawling when her and her family left last year. My 8 yr old son especially gets so upset when we leave the UK or France or when family leave here. It breaks my heart.
