The proper thing to do is got to work, infect everyon there and then brag about how you came in when ill...My co worker called in sick this morning, sniveling and whining about having a cold and being sore after shoveling snow all day yesterday. Yesterday I drove 2 1/2 hours into work in the snow only to be told upon arrival that they had closed the building. (I leave the house at 0430, the snow closure message wasn't posted until 0530, my coworker (actually she works for our client) who lives closer got the message and didn't come in.) They let me stay since I was already there and I sure as hell wasn't gonig to drive back home in the morning rush/snow mess. Earned some brownie points with the boss and client though and saved a vacation day*.

* As we are contractors at our clients location, if the building is closed we either have to come in anyway or take a vacation day since if my company gave us the day off they'd have to pay us, but would not recieve compensation from the client seeing as how we did no work...

Had it last week...coughing up grey/green oysters every few seconds and aching like a MF....took 2 days off work went back still feeling ill and passed the virus on to the boss
.....still recovering in fact ...the cough persists....drinking beer seems to aid the sore throat though ....do you have a six pack handy?

Hell no!!! Dr.Circus recommends excessive drinking as a cure to all ills .....drink till you get to that warm fuzzy couldn't give a **** stage ....and maintain that altitude for the rest of the day
