You mean Dave Lee Travis aka DLT "The Hairy Monster"?
He is currently on trial for (historic) sex offences in the UK.
William Roach who plays Ken Barlow in Coronation Sr is also on trial in a separate court for sex offences going back many years, and Rolf Harris was also in court earlier this week, again for historic sex offences. His trial is due to take place in the Spring.

I figured that might be what was referred to, but the lack of details, URL, photo etc. left me wondering if it was a deliberately ambiguous post or if a URL, or whatever, had been accidentally omitted.
I never liked they guy, his show, or his taste in music, however the reports so far (the witness today conceded on cross examination that it was a "puerile joke") make me think he'll get probation, or a token sentence (something mostly or entirely suspended), and presumably put on the sex offenders registry.

A lot of them its sort of, yeah, OK, that figures - I mean Barlow/Roach was always a bit weird, DLT, well, he probably thought it was just "being a bit of a lad", Jimmy Saville - I can remember my folk at the time saying there was "something not right about him". But Rolf? he was the one that got me. Not Rolf, we loved Rolf. And he's painted the Queen and all sorts. The worst he ever did was sing about shagging a wallaby (which probably isn't even a crime down-under) and I'm not even sure they were the original words No, not Rolf, shurely shome mishtake?? The others can be tarred now, but I'm reverting to innocent until proven guilty for Rolf.

There is absolutely no excuse for unwanted attention (of course some of it went much further than "attention" if the stories are true).*
However, a friend and I, both in education since the 1980s (me) and 1970s (him) and of course both of us schoolkids before that, were talking about what our teacher colleagues and our own teachers used to get away with back then with impunity. These days, you'd at least lose your job and for some of the things, end up in court.
I think the difference is that back then (I think) there were laws against the things these guys have been accused of, whereas (I think) there were no laws against a teacher clipping you around the ear, or far worse.
*[edited to add: I'm referring to the DLT stories, not in any way suggesting the likes of Savile were just "having a laugh"]
