Staying where? Like in a Hotel?
Apparently not a hotel.....hmmmmm anyone got a tent? Or we could knock up your neighbours for a bed for the night.

Catfish-sewer trout-patooie

We have Low Country Boils here-corn on cob, potatoes, shrimp (native ones, small and sweet) and sausage-all boiled together in a big pot and thrown out on a picnic table 9with a vinyl tablecloth).

They also do oyster roasts here.

With all this fish talk I had to go up to the cafeteria and get some fried sewer trout nuggets (Friday is fish day) with sides of brussel sprouts and fried taters 'n onions washed down with a Whistle.

Mmmm.

Ooh, yum and also drinking the resulting liquor from the boil

They also do oyster roasts here.
Never eaten this. I'd like to but I'm not clear on whether I'm allergic to oysters or not.

You can hold the zydeco. I'm not fond of music featuring accordions.

They use that Old Chesapeake Seasoning in the boil for flavor. My favorite oysters are the Bon Secour ones you get down in FL/AL/LA coast

The DH fell for Zydeco when we went to N'awlins- he was trying to find a CD of it at the airport when we were flying home.

If you like zydeco you might like a movie called "Schultze Gets the Blues". Synopsis is a German dude who becomes hooked on zydeco and takes a trip to Texas to attend a zydeco festival. I enjoyed the movie even though I don't like zydeco.
