Very nice indeed.

That's great to see one of those restored. I was watching a show on TV yesterday where a guy had one professional restored and it cost $75k. It was a 67 coupe and the comment was made that the cost of restoring was about 3 times what the car was worth, and that you don't see many coupes restored for that reason.

I like it.I spent most of last year trying to convince myself to buy a Mustang Shelby GT350 but sadly failed.

You should have tried harder. Next time rough yourself up a bit - you'll get the idea eventually ...

Anyone willing to lend me 32k?

1959 Triumph TR3 - Green - New Engine

Spoiler:

Or more realistically 3.5k for this

1963 Triumph Spitfire "round tail"

Spoiler:

Damn, I really should be working.

32K for that is steep . I'd rather look around for the a series 1 E-Type coupe that was in decent condition.

Next time, skip the convincing yourself part and just buy one. I'm just about to start trying to convo once the wife to allow me to trade up from the V6 to the V8. I reckon in about 10 years, I'll be having the same conversation to upgrade the V8 to the Shelby.

I wouldn't mind either one of those. The TR3 is beautiful.

I wonder how many still exist? They only made 500, so I doubt it is more than a few dozen. Still, the price does seem a bit steep.
