Anyone got any big plans for this so called holiday weekend? Being in sales my boss has decided I need to work.......not bitter......much. What happened to all the Bank Holiday seaside weekends of my youth. GRRRRRRRR!

Here in Lower Hudson-land, Sleepy Hollow has a street fair on Saturday so we'll prolly check that out, and there's a Native American harvest festival also in SH at the Phillipsburg Manor colonial-era manor house on Labor [sic] Day. On Sunday we might take the train up to Cold Spring and visit Boscobel, a federalist-era country house. We went to an evening Shakespeare performance there a couple of months ago and it's very beautiful up there.

Going up to Hayward WI, to stay in a cabin on a lake. Fishing!!

Here in South Louisiana our holiday weekend is about to be blighted by a tropical depression/tropical storm/hurricane.

Absolutely nothing here. Dh has Monday off so maybe we can get some things fixed around here that have been waiting. The list keeps getting longer

We have a Party friday night, a Band playing in the club house saturday and then music on the lake Sunday which is a classical band, barbi and picnic.

Downside I have that awful sore throat, temp and my ears drums are hurting great

I see you are now in Auburn. That must be nice to get out of the hot inland valley and much closer to Tahoe but your mileage on your car must have gone way up.

Yes moved 2 weeks ago live right on a golf course very refreshing and happy here.....no the mileage is the same alot of business in Sacramento just gone into the far north of CA and am also in Reno so to be honest I am actually better here in Auburn more going on for me.

I think the area is hands down much better than the inland valley. You even get an occasional snowflake, are very close to good recreational areas, and the area is overall very nice. Wise move.
