Kitty Friday

If you're looking to find a new home for a cat, try to put the cat in a no-kill shelter if at all possible. Don't mean to be negative - but the cats have a very hard time getting adopted at the county shelters.

You may be surprised - we used to volunteer at a local no-kill shelter (really should get back to doing so) and many of the cats are very happy to see you. One would immediately climb into my lap and start purring away. Psychologically it's easier for me to go to the no-kill shelters ... and indirectly you still save a life because they often pull from the county shelters as they have openings.
Our local one has the pictures up of animals that can be adopted: www.lfaw.org
Yours may too?
How fun for you - do tell us how it turns out! (And if you decide to get more than one - it's really no more effort - just a little more hair perhaps.)
We actually have 3 - 2 of ours have their pics in my gallery.

Wanda aka Large Marge.
This is all she does. She has no future as a LOLCat. Maybe.

I was going to PM you but I can't send attachments. So I'm posting it here. I finally got around to making a lolcat pic out of one you posted.

I'll find that very hard to just pick one.
