I've assimilated...
 
...Well not quite, but I finally became a US citizen yesterday :)

766 other people joined me from 99 countries. It was surprisingly quite an emotional ride :)

Congratulations! I didn't find it emotional for myself, but it was indeed an eye opener as to just what it meant to so many of the people who were naturalizing, who came from situations that we as Brits just can't begin to imagine.

I think everyone bar a handful just mumbled or didn't say anything during the pledge or anthem...it was quite amusing though :)
