Inbetweeners
Anyone seen it?
it's comedy gold.............. Like Grange Hill with swearing. |
Re: Inbetweeners
It's the best thing on TV right now, Episode 3 had my stomach and throat hurting from laughter.

Re: Inbetweeners
Like it a lot.
But raises a question: Inbetweeners or Skins? (Like, if you had to choose). |

Re: Inbetweeners
Skins got boring to me after the first series. Inbetweeners is doing the good British thing of ending after 2 or 3 excellent series, like with Extras and the Office, as opposed to money-spinning never ending network shows like Lost and Heroes.
Another parallel to the Office, they're making an American version of the Inbetweeners, I imagine that they'll carry the idea and style through and not the humour, it's got some pretty big names behind the production, no clue as to the actors though. I'm really looking forward to it. |

Can't imagine NBC going for a supposed shot of a 16 year old girl tossing off a 17 year old lad at an under 18 disco........ |

Love it... and it can't be redone in the US and be anywhere near as funny.

Re: Inbetweeners
There was another Brit show I watched on the plane and can't remember the name of it. It was based on the memoirs of some flamboyantly gay bloke from when he was a kid. The episode I saw was pretty funny. Anyone have a clue what I'm talking about?
