I've always thought that the countries that had a president who was just a patriotic figurehead -- to shake lots of hands and do the ribbon cuttings, etc. -- and a prime minister -- leader of the government, concentrating on running the country -- had the right idea. But there don't seem to be too many of those left these days.

From some posts I have seen when he arrived into YVR he departed the aircraft using air stairs from the rear door.

If CBSA can clear sports teams without them needing to go into the terminal, I am sure they can manage clearing Harry air-side with no need for him to go to the main arrivals hall.

My BIL was a diplomat and thatโ€™s how he used to board and leave aircrafts.

Germany has one of those presidents (although "patriotic" is relative in the German context), and also one of those prime ministers (although they don't call her that). I suppose we should offer bonus points for anyone who knows who the German president is without looking it up... ๐Ÿ˜…

I think Ireland also has this type of system, maybe also Poland and the Czech Republic...
