Default Iconic Rock Photos from 1970s, 80s and 90s

I thoroughly enjoyed looking at these photos of (most) of the greats from that era. It's not click-bait so you can just keep scrolling down.

Sad that so many of them are dead now and actually kind of difficult to believe.

A backstage pass to history

Great shots -- thanks for posting. I could have stopped at Marley and been happy!

Wow! Those are amazing photos.

Seems like just yesterday that I was young , cool and with it.

Shame for me the first one was Springsteen. Never could stick 'im.

I threw up a little at Madonna

I did love her at the time though.

That's a great collection. I love how happy those South American policemen are posing with Queen.

Thanks for the trip, Leslie. One or two I never heard of and some that I never listened to, i.e. Madonna. Sid Vicious. Never cared for Springstein or Frampton.

Great photos, Leslie.

The first concert I ever went to was Peter Frampton. August 15 1977 at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto.

Dorothy's post made me remember that when I was in high school I had seen Frampton in concert. It was a little later when he was doing smaller venues.

I went back through the pics and these are the ones that I've seen live:

Kiss
Peter Frampton

I never got to see the Traveling Wilbury's but separately:

Tom Petty
Bob Dylan

It's Kiss, Dylan and 50% of Queen (back when Brian and Roger were touring with Paul Rodgers) for me out of that lot.

Bowie - pointing through the tv screen at every teenager living in small-minded British suburbia and longing to get out and get away.
