Re: I know, I'm an idiot...
My sister got herself into a big mess a couple of years ago with credit cards etc. She managed to get the slate clean by contacting a debt agency and they in turn contacted all her creditors. The debt agency managed to get all of the interest wiped off the debts and instead of her paying off all of the debt the creditors accepted a certain amount. They would rather have some type of payment then none at all. She managed to erase of all the debts in 18 months instead of years and has since built up her credit. If you work with them they will work with you. Good luck to you.

So, I searched the Register of Judgments, Orders and Fines through the Registry Trust for CCJs, default judgments etc. and there's nothing registered under my name and previous address. I know my credit will still be in the toilet but should I take this as a good sign?
